Position : Centre Attacking Midfield

Ellie’s love and talent came from watching her older brothers play football every Saturday and Sunday. While Ellie did not have a team to play for she regularly joined in with her brothers team training, she really enjoyed training and she decided that she finally wanted to join a team. After a while of looking and a suggestion from a manager at the Whitewebbs -Paul Cowen. Ellie decided to go and trial at Whitewebbs Eagles FC. Ellie joined the club age 8 and was welcomed by the team. She was first played as a right-wing player as well as right back where she still occasionally plays. As her confidence grew as well as her talent, she developed a passion for the game. After her first, well worked season at the club she was awarded Managers player of the season. While still playing for Whitewebbs Ellie attended Arsenal day camps where she was scouted for Arsenal Ladies FC. While training at Whitewebbs Eagles she also trained for Arsenals mini kickers. However, Arsenal later decided to move Ellie up to play under 10s playing with older girls including games. This caused her to move on from Whitewebbs and join arsenal to play in the under 10s team.

Ellie was at Arsenal for 4 years training and playing and later moved to Millwall Lionesses FC where she is currently playing her 5th season for the club, she received player of the season and attended England trials. A highlight for Ellie during her football career was starting in the FA youth cup final against Arsenal at St Georges Park and being in a team that was unbeaten last season.

“Whitewebbs helped me develop my passion and skills for football, while leaving me with great friends and memories. I will always be grateful that Whitewebbs gave me my first chance to play for a team.”
